A $6.1 M second generation build-out of ambulatory surgery center and clinic suites. The surgery center included an operating room, four level one recovery bays, three step-down bays, and a step-down recovery lounge as well as ancillary spaces to accommodate the surgery center. The clinic required 20% demolition of space and re-build and rework of new walls to achieve new layout. The Clinic and Surgery Center were permitted separately and ran concurrently, so that the practice could start seeing patients in the Clinic as soon as possible. During construction, the C & W team was able to overcome material shortages and long lead times by sourcing from several vendors and providing a temporary generator to keep the project time-line. We also saved the owner $90k with cost saving engineering in doors, structural supports for OR and procedure lighting as well as rated storefront assemblies.
