Management Team
Like the world famous Atlanta Braves just down the road, every member of our team plays a unique and critical role to help deliver the best results for our customers. Here’s a breakdown of our team and roles we play.
Curtis Costley
Coach & General Manager
Curtis Costley is our fearless leader and resident Yellow Jacket. With more than 35 years in the construction industry, he brings a wealth of experience to each project. A proud Georgia Tech alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction, Curtis enjoys the challenge of each new job and the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships with customers and industry professionals. His strengths are value engineering, design and ensuring his team always exceeds the clients’ expectations. As much as he loves his work, his greatest passion is his family.
Rex Terry
Short Stop & Field Operations Manager
As one of the quickest players on our team, Rex coordinates the daily activities of around 20 people at any point in time. A highly organized multi-tasker with over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, he has pretty much seen it all at one time or another. He is passionate about the positive transformation and impact of constructions projects to ultimately help build better communities. When he is not busy working you can find him supporting Alabama football or going off to the Caribbean on a well-earned vacation.
Chris Costley
Pitcher & Project Manager
With an above average throw and ability to see the bigger picture, Chris more than carries his weight at C&W Contracting. Chris truly enjoys the construction process and finding simple solutions to the tougher problems. A proud Georgia Southern Alumni with a Bachelors in Construction Management, Chris has already racked up over 10 years of experience in the industry. When not pitching new ideas and building relationships with our clients, he can possibly be found weight training or enjoying the outdoors with his family.
Pat Cohane
Second Baseman & Project Manager
Every second baseman should be quick on his feet, and Pat is no exception. With more than 15 years at C&W Contracting, Pat truly loves what he does. He has a unique background as a carpenter foreman with a degree in Business Management, and he enjoys providing competitive pricing and top-quality builds in a timely manner, no matter the situation. Outside of work, you can find him spending time with his wife of 25 years, two daughters, and grandson. He also enjoys getting in a round of golf with his friends whenever his schedule allows.
Bill Hansberry
Third Basemen & Project Manager
With a rich knowledge base of the construction industry and a love of problem-solving, Bill firmly solidifies his place as third baseman. He began his career as a carpenter’s helper while building houses in his teens, moving on to work as a superintendent, project manager, and eventually vice president of construction before landing at C & W. He genuinely enjoys delivering to everyone’s expectations or above and firmly believes that his most successful projects have been when the client is truly included as part of the team. In his downtime, you can find him on his houseboat tied off in a cove.
Jenna Basich
Right Field & Project Manager
As the most creative ‘right brain’ thinker on our team, Jenna has a unique ability to add value by offering a fresh perspective. With a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Kennesaw State University and an Interior Design Certification, she combines the best of both worlds and is passionate about the creative challenge of helping customers with their interior design choices. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with family and friends and volunteering with Hillside United Methodist Church Christmas Angels Program.
Tatia Callahan
Catcher & Office Manager
As our catcher, Tatia calls the pitches and helps the team adjust their positions in mid-game. A natural leader with over 30 years of experience managing commercial real estate, she brings an owner’s perspective to the commercial renovation process. Tatia provides support and guidance to the team and enjoys keeping everyone focused on the common goals and objectives. When not in the office, she loves embarrassing her two teenagers, singing along to 80s hits, and watching Alabama Football with her family.
Brittany Glisson
Center Field & Accounting and Marketing Coordinator
Centerfielders typically have to cover the most ground of any position, and Brittany is no exception. She has worked at C&W Contracting for almost 20 years and considers it her second home. Brittany has a bachelor’s degree from Kennesaw State University in International Affairs with a minor in French. Today she ensures the company’s website, social media presence and accounting are all kept up-to-date. When she is not fixing problems at work, she’s likely to be found chasing and corralling her three children, exploring new places, and enjoying the ups and downs of Falcon’s football.
Jan Costley
Assistant Coach & Accountant
As every business person knows, to succeed you need someone on your team to crunch the numbers and help you exceed your targets. With a passion for numbers and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech, Jan fills this role with pride and is appreciated by everyone at C&W. Jan is a running enthusiast and enjoys competing in marathons.
Jonathan Hanks
Left Fielder & Project Manager
With a wide scope and area to patrol, Jonathan brings the typical qualities of a great outfielder - reliability and good judgment. A graduate of Auburn University’s civil engineering program, Jonathan is one of the newest members of our team. Prior to joining C & W Contracting, he worked in the healthcare construction industry, and he loves meeting new people through his projects. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and can usually be found at the local gym.
Kevin Williams
Organist & Project Manager
Like the live music at your favorite stadium, Kevin brings a fresh energy to our team. He has a B.A. in Classical Humanities from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Prior to joining C&W, he worked for a private equity and CRE investment firm in the Atlanta market. He also has experience working in finance and as a stand-up comedian. The construction industry is a perfect fit for Kevin due to his love of building relationships and working collaboratively with a team on varied and diverse projects. When asked what he is passionate about outside of work, he had to go with bread: “Bread. I love bread. My children too, but also I love bread. I find soup to be extremely delicious, particularly when paired with bread.” Who can blame him?
Valarie McCord
Bullpen Manager & Receptionist
In baseball, your bench coach often acts as an in-game advisor to the team, and our receptionist Valarie fits this to a tee. While she is new to the construction industry, she is no stranger to her role, having worked in a variety of different industries prior to joining C & W Contracting. Valarie is friendly to a fault and has a well-earned reputation as being the ultimate team player. She is always volunteering to lend a helping hand, no matter how big the task. Outside of the office, she can be found spending time with her family and offering support to her newly graduated children.
Reed Sewell
Utility Player & Project Manager
Reed grew up helping his father build their family house and has extensive experience renovating rental homes. These jobs taught him tremendous versatility and prepared him well for the commercial side of construction. Reed started at C & W while studying Civil Engineering at Kennesaw State University and has worked hard to become an effective and knowledgeable project manager. He enjoys working with clients and taking part in a diverse range of projects. In his downtime, you can probably find him in the great outdoors pursuing his love of hunting and fishing.
Dylan Murray
Middle Reliever & Project Manager
Sometimes in baseball, well-liked teammates get traded but then come back after a season or two with a new perspective on the game and an increased skill set. Dylan interned at C & W while earning his Construction Management degree at Kennesaw State University. After graduation, he moved on for a while to work in different sectors of construction. The experience not only allowed him to see all sides of the industry but realize that C&W was the “team” he wanted to “commit” to for his construction career. He has been back at C&W for several years now and enjoys the variety and balance between crunching numbers on a bid at the office and being out and about at job sites. While not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and cheering on Atlanta United.
Jonathan Hutson
First Base and Assistant Project Manager
First base requires general awareness of the entire field, and Jonathan is sure to bring that to every project he is on. Before joining C & W, he kicked and punted for The University of the Cumberlands while obtaining a double major in Business Administration as well as Fitness and Sports Management. During his fifth year of eligibility, he went on to attain his MBA. His athletic background set him up to be a true team player, which is one of the things he enjoys most about the construction process. He also likes seeing the tangible results of a project coming together and visiting different job sites throughout Atlanta. He is a true sports enthusiast and loves following all of Atlanta’s home teams as well as international soccer and racing leagues like Formula 1 and Nascar. When not following sports, he’s either at the movie theater, on his bike, at the gym, running, or spending time with family and friends.
Matthew Weekley
Long Reliever & Project Manager
In baseball, long relievers come in to get the game under control. Matthew’s favorite parts of construction are problem-solving and creating teams to achieve the impossible, which makes him the perfect “mop-up man” at C & W. He began his career in construction early, as a teen, and has a varied resume in the industry to match. He graduated with a BS in Construction Management from Southern Poly Tech and worked as an assistant project manager on a $35 M dormitory before transitioning to project management. During off-duty hours, he enjoys fly fishing and camping with his family.
Sandie Edenfield
Closer & Project Manager
With over 20 years of construction experience and a proven ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, Sandie qualifies as our closer. Her love for the industry began early by working at her parent’s electrical company before moving on to work her way up with a general contractor. She started her career as a job site coordinator and progressed to Senior Project Manager. Her passion stems from the excitement of watching a project come together and sharing in the joy it brings to end users. In her downtime, she enjoys being on the lake with her grandkids.
Andrew Parten
Team Physician & Project Manager
The team physician has to have great interpersonal skills and be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. These are both areas where Andrew excels. He loves interfacing with different trades and believes there is a great sense of accomplishment in watching a project progress from start to finish. He comes to C&W after eleven years in Environmental Compliance and Industrial Project Management and possesses a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Alabama. Away from work, he is a certified girl dad and hunting fanatic.
